There has not been a lack of “noise” recently in our sunny little island with the ease of travel restrictions, dining in at Food & Beverage (F&B) establishments being capped at two until last week, and even some dirty laundry being aired out concerning a certain local Youtube Channel and their founders making waves online. Depending on how you see it, here at Cellarbration, we might just be piling on the decibels or creating music to your ears.

It was just two months ago that we launched our latest brick-and-mortar Bistro & Bottle shop located on the busy streets of Boat Quay along Lorong Telok, which also plays host to countless other go-to restaurants and drinking holes. We touched on the place itself and what it has to offer here but with everything that has been happening we simply could not resist throwing our hat into the ring – Happy Hour Beer at $3.50, daily.

Yes, you read right. An ice cold, house-poured, exquisite half-pint of Rossl Bier going at the same price as a plate of Singapore Chicken Rice (wink, wink)- with fewer calories.

The cellar within is a perfect euphemism for the bottle shop located inside the premises for your convenience. You can take your time browsing through our selection, have your pick of whatever tickles your fancy and subsequently enjoy it in-house (provided that you order some food) or bring it back home to save for a special occasion. It goes without saying that we are indeed open for dine-in with each table limited to five (fully vaccinated) people as per the current regulations, and bear in mind that corkage fees do apply. Depending on your purchase, this could mean an additional $19.90 for spirits, which comes with a one-time complimentary mixer, or $9.90 for wines which includes a bottle of either still or sparkling water. Purchases can be made at the bar or off the shelf making it convenient for you to nip in and be on your way home in no time at all if that is what you wanted to do.

Our “coverage” also extends beyond alcoholic beverages so even your non-drinking friend will be treated to a comprehensive drink menu while helping to keep you company. This is much needed especially when you consider our $3.50 Happy Hour Beer deal since the likelihood of you sticking around for more than just an after-work beer is that much higher, and we do not want anyone feeling left out now do we?

A good ol’ drinking session is never complete without some hearty, mostly fried and definitely blissfully unhealthy finger food. And we aim to provide just that. Nothing comes quite as close as when you complement your ice-cold half-pint of Rossl Bier with a plate of Nachos topped with Chicken Con-Carne or some Buffalo Wings. On second thought, maybe our whole Finger Platter would give those dishes a run for their money.
