Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella is a dry Italian red wine from Veneto. The wine is made mainly from species Corvina and Rondinella and Molinara Italian wine grapes, and are often blended together. Garnet with brilliant ruby reflections, with full, ample, and elegant hints of wild berries, prune, chocolate, violet, licorice, and sweet tobacco scent. A velvety full-flavoured wine that is extremely rich, mouth filling, and persistent on the palate with cranberry, leather, cloves, round tannins, and sweet spices.

The name of ‘Amarone’ is amaro in Italian, which literally means “bitter”, it is to differentiate the ripe and bold flavors of wine from other sweet wines produced in the region. Red meat, spiced barbecue and blue cheese are recommended dishes that pair well with Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella.
