Bombay Sapphire gin was launched in 1987 and distributed by Bacardi. This iconic gin is based on one of the earliest recorded recipes for a premium quality London Dry gin.
Its distinctive blue bottle, mesmerising jewel tone and namesake were inspired by an actual gemstone with a sizeable carat to match, the 182 carat Star of Bombay. Every drop contains 10 hand-selected botanicals from exotic locations around the world.
The Crafting Process
Ivano Tonutti, a Master of Botanicals, went an extra thousand miles and hand-selected the botanicals used in the gin, building personal relationships with each grower.
